Godwits -- Bombay Hook NWR--Raymond Pool -- 2012-09-02 10:56

A fun day on the Delaware shore today, with several memorable highlights. Here's my eBird checklist for Raymond's Pool at Bombay Hook, where there were two Marbled and one Hudsonian Godwit amongst the many other shorebirds. Good to see Hudsonian again - an uber-migrant, breeding on the arctic tundra, wintering in the southern cone of South America. I even have a lousy digiscoped shot of it (coming soon).
