Just returned from a magical weekend in Massachusetts. Spent Saturday morning enjoying an adult Ivory Gull in Plymouth - one of two adults on the MA coast at present. After an unsuccessful detour into New Hampshire for a Northern Hawk-Owl (too windy), we headed back to the coast and saw a couple more interesting gulls in Gloucester harbor on Sunday morning, before the roadtrip back to Maryland.

A great day yesterday alongthe Atlantic Coast of the Delmarva Peninsula, the highlight being two Snowy Owls on Assateague Island. More photos of both birds at my Flickr photostream:
