Sabine's Gull continues -- Triadelphia Reservoir--Greenbridge Rd. -- 2012-09-12 14:25

Now in the fifth day of its stay, a beautiful adult Sabine's Gull that arrived on a cold front Saturday evening is still at the Triadelphia Reservoir, on the border between Montgomery and Howard counties. Nice bird!

Specie Comments: Continuing adult. Flew in from the north around 1430. Spent some time in the far southern part of the res., south of the dam, before heading to the area immediately across from Greenbridge. Appeared to take two small fish disturbed by feeding cormorants. Still in view off Greenbridge at 1545, sitting on water.
