Purple Finch -- Wheaton Branch Stormwater Ponds -- Oct 8, 2012

My first Purple Finch at the ponds flew over, calling, this morning. Many records elsewhere in Maryland today too. Several small groups of Canada Geese and an Osprey also headed southwest.
