Great Egrets -- Wheaton Branch Stormwater Ponds -- 2012-08-20 06:36

I was bemoaning the lack if migrants and drop-off in heron numbers when three Great Egrets dropped in from the north. Ah the magic of migration ;)

Other highlights were TWO beavers and a Spotted Sandpiper.

Why so few migrant passerines here?
